Friendly staff, good location

Had a lovely stay at Batavia. The location is fantastic, just a block away from main streets with all the restaurants. Exploring on foot was easy, which I appreciated. The room was spacious with great air conditioning to keep cool. I also enjoyed the little touches like lavender on the pillows. Breakfast offered tasty options, though a wider selection would elevate the experience. The staff were incredibly responsive. They even prepared a bagged breakfast for us when we had to check out early. A few minor issues popped up, like needing a coffee plunger in the room. I felt welcomed and comfortable, but better breakfast choices would be a big plus.

More fun than I expected!

I was pleasantly surprised by this charming spot. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, fulfilling every request with a smile. The location is perfect for exploring all the shops and restaurants without needing a car. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, setting a bright tone for each day. A delightful stay!

Had multiple issues, including a non-functional A/C and unreliable power outlets, making it hard to charge devices. Encountered load shedding with no advance warning, leaving the room dark and uncomfortable at night. Breakfast options were solid but not exceptional, and the coverage of windows made the experience feel a bit cramped and less inviting than expected.

The location was ideal for exploring the town, with nearby amenities like a supermarket and restaurants. The staff were exceptionally helpful, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere during our stay.

The location is just perfect, like right in the heart of everything! Chilled by the pool after exploring the town, and the beds were so comfy, I almost didn’t wanna get up for brekkie. Staff were super friendly and always willing to help out, which made everything feel lekker!

We had a boss time! The spacious room was full of quirky character, and Temba was dead helpful throughout our stay, even with breakfast. Loved the lovely outdoor pool area too! Only downside was the breakfast, could've done with more options. But overall, proper sound place to stay!

Would definitely recommend for a fleeting moment

Fabulous boutique hotel! Beautifully furnished rooms, warm ambiance, lovely breakfast, and free parking. Perfect for exploring the nearby shops and restaurants – truly felt welcome here!

The quirky decor and intimate courtyard with a plunge pool were highlights. I felt completely at home!

loved the spacious and comfy room with aircon! the staff were super friendly and always offered help with a smile. its a great spot close to town where you can easily explore alles! breakfast was nice too, especially with that honor bar vibe they got going on.
